Veteran's Healing Ceremony
Friday, June 25th, 2010

Please come for a very special day to respect, honor, support, and promote a day long healing retreat for our combat and non-combat veterans and their families.

Healing Winds an American Indian cultural and educational non-profit organization will facilitate several group activities and American Indian healing and forgiveness ceremonies for Veterans and their loved ones on June 25h beginning at 10AM. Registration begins at 8:30AM with a light continental breakfast and morning beverages. Families are welcome and encouraged to participate.

Program Schedule and Activities:

  • Veteran's healing retreat is 1 day, June 25-Friday -
    from 10am to 4pm with lunch provided. Registration begins at 9am. Light
    continental breakfast with coffee, juices and water will be available from

American Indian Traditional Healers and Program Facilitators:

  • James Ettsitty, Jr., Traditional Navajo Medicine Man of 25 years
  • Jake Singer, U.S. Marines and Navajo Medicine Man and Pipe Carrier
  • Timothy James Shay, Penobscot, U.S. Marines and Native American Church
  • Fidel Moreno – Huichol, Program Coordinator and Pipe Carrier
  • Susan Jameson – Inter-Faith Therapist and Forgiveness Counselor

A love offering of a monetary donation for our medicine people and healers is a traditional way of expressing thanks, gratitude and appreciation for their time and gifts.
