A “WIPING THE TEARS CEREMONY” was conducted for all Veteran’s as part of the weekend honoring our warriors and their families. This ceremony was shared with the community to witness and facilitate deeper healing for our Veterans so that a healing process could replace grief, depression and isolation. There were many Veterans and loved ones who were very moved and inspired by this ceremony and prayer for healing.
Requests were made to conduct this ceremony again to assist, support and facilitate this sacred healing process for our Veterans, Warriors and their families. These and other traditional prayers and healing ceremonies will be conducted on October 24th and October 31st of 2009.
An optional Sunday half day workshop and ceremony will be offered for those wanting to stay overnight or come on Sunday for half day.
The White Eagle Sanctuary, a Native American Healing and Wellness Center and Healing Winds, a Native American Educational and Cultural Organization are producing and hosting this very special
